Cleaning works are underway on Kvemo Alazani main canal
For the arrangement of amelioration infrastructure, “Georgian Amelioration” ltd is carrying out cleaning works on Kvemo Alazani main canal, in Gurjaani municipality. Currently, a 4km long section of the canal is being cleaned from vegetation and ground sediment.
The works performed will facilitate to the unhindered flow of water through the canal and effective water supply of agricultural land plots.
“Georgian Amelioration” continue to gradually improve the irrigation infrastructure aiming at the increase of meliorated land area.
