Infrastructural works have been completed on Iakublo reservoir
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture has completed rehabilitation works on Iakublo reservoir. Within the works, the damaged platform was restored on the outlet tower, protection lattice-type door was installed.
Furthermore, the headworks of the Iakublo head-race canal and additional feeding pipeline was repaired, the damaged crossing bridge was arranged and the structures were replaced.
As a result of completion of the rehabilitation works of the Iakublo head-race canal headworks and the additional feeding pipeline, conditions were created for proper and safe operation of the infrastructure.
In the Bolnisi municipality villages up to 140 hectares of agricultural land area have been fully supplied with irrigation water.
