In order to improve irrigation systems, “Georgian
Amelioration” LTD is continuously implementing infrastructural projects and
various types of operational works across the country.
Arrangement works of two water distribution junctions have been completed on the Aghmashenebeli main canal in the village Gajisakendi, in Marneuli Municipality.
These infrastructural measures will improve the discharge capacity in the canal, also irrigation water supply, and local farmers will have the opportunity to irrigate approximately 150 hectares of land area regularly.
The company carried out the arrangement works of water distribution junctions in Kvemo Kartli region with its own sources.
As a result of amelioration infrastructural projects, implemented in the Kvemo Kartli region in 2012-2024, more than 34,000 hectares of agricultural land area have been water provided, and irrigation water supply has been improved to 32,000 hectares.
