Working meeting with the representatives of the Asian Development Bank mission
The General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” LTD, Gigla Tamazashvili, met with the representatives of the Asian Development Bank mission. At the meeting, the parties discussed the complex investment project of Asian Development Bank, which is focused on strengthening of agriculture, food, nature, and rural development sectors.
The investment project includes an assessment of the condition of existing drainage systems in the West of Georgia, their rehabilitation potential and appropriateness. Along with sharing information and opinions, the parties expressed their readiness for future close cooperation. Following the meeting, representatives of the Asian Development Bank mission visited Western Georgia, in order to inspect drainage areas.
The assessments, obtained as a result of the project implementation, will be the basis of a feasibility study, which will ensure the provision of strategic recommendations for the rehabilitation and modernization of drainage systems.
