Amelioration works in Marneuli Municipality
"Georgian Amelioration" LTD of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture has completed works on the Tsereteli Canal in Marneuli Municipality.
As a result, the risk of flooding of household land plots, adjacent to the canal, will no longer exist. Also, irrigation water supply will be improved to 100 hectares of agricultural land area, which will facilitate the production of agricultural crops and increase productivity.
As a result of amelioration infrastructural projects, implemented in Kvemo Kartli region in 2012-2024, more than 34,094 hectares of agricultural land area have been water provided, and irrigation water supply has been improved to 32,067 hectares.
