"Georgian Amelioration" LTD has published the water supply forecasting regimes for year 2026
"Georgian Amelioration" LTD has published the irrigation water supply forecasting regimes for 2026, for each irrigation system under its ownership. The regimes specify the period and frequency of water supply, according to annual and perennial crops. According to the regulations of the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), irrigation water supply regimes will be approved by February 1, 2026. “Georgian Amelioration” will organize public discussions, according to the relevant regions, in order to discuss the irrigation water supply forecasting regimes. At the meetings, farmers will have the opportunity to express their own suggestions, regarding the forecasting regimes, published within the framework of the acting regulations. The company will maximally share the opinions of water users, regarding the implementation of changes in the forecasting regimes. The company will hold public discussions at all five regional offices, where all interested parties will have the opportunity to participate.
