Irrigation water supply will improve in the villages of Akhalkalaki
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture initiated repair works on Diliska-Ptena-Chunchkha irrigation scheme in Akhalkalaki municipality.
Currently, works for rehabilitation of pump units and repair of 19.9 km long pipeline are underway.
As a result of the works carried out, irrigation water supply will improve and totally, 1320 hectares of agricultural land area will be water supplied in Akhalkalaki municipality. The pipeline will serve three villages of Akhalkalaki municipality- Diliska, Ptena and Chunchkha.
The works for the repair of pump units and pipeline on Diliska-Ptena-Chunchkha irrigation scheme will be completed by the end of the year.
