An informational training on personal data protection has been held in “Georgian Amelioration” ltd of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, which was attended by the employees of regional offices and service centers.
Nia Sokhadze-Personal Data Protection Officer of Georgian Amelioration has introduced the issues of personal data protection legislation, ethical standards and practical approaches to the company staff, submitted information on safe data processing and their intended use.
The training covered the following topics:
The concept and categories of personal data;
Legal bases for data processing;
Data subject rights;
Protection of information confidentiality;
The trainees have received the recommendations on proper use of data in daily activities.
