The cleaning works of the irrigation canal have been completed in the village of Khovle
"Georgian Amelioration" LTD of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture is regulating irrigation and drainage systems across the country.
"Georgian Amelioration" LTD implemented the cleaning works of the irrigation canal with its own forces on the territory of the village Khovle, in Kaspi municipality.
The measures implemented under the operation program ensure the uninterrupted water flow in the channel, which will improve the irrigation water supply to 50 hectares of agricultural land area and will facilitate an increase in agricultural production capacity.
It should be mentioned that currently, 6 rehabilitation projects of irrigation infrastructure are underway in the Shida Kartli region. As a result, water supply will be improved on 11,870 hectares of land plots.
