Cleaning works are underway on 2.6 km long drainage canals in Chokhatauri municipality
“Georgian Amelioration” ltd is carrying out works for the alignment of drainage schemes in Guria region. The works are underway on the drainage network in Chokhatauri municipality. 2.6 km long water collecting canals are being cleaned from vegetation and sedimentary soil in the village of Goraberezheuli.
The works carried out will facilitate to unhindered flow of water in the canals. As a result, drainage services will be improved on 15 ha of agricultural land area which will contribute to the increase in agricultural production.
Georgian Amelioration will complete the cleaning works on drainage canals in May.
