Irrigation water supply will be improved to 200 hectares of agricultural land area in Shida Kartli
“Georgian Amelioration” LTD is implementing amelioration infrastructural projects throughout the country in Continuous mode.
In order to improve water supply, a 2 km length of irrigation channel is being cleaned from plants and silt on the territory of the villages Variani and Shindisi, in Shida Kartli.
As a result of the works carried out by the operation program, the water discharge capacity in the canal will be increased, which will improve irrigation water supply to 200 hectares of agricultural land area.
The populations of the villages Variani and Shindisi will benefit from the restored irrigation channel.
The works carried out by the company on its own will be completed in the middle of this month.
