General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” – “Out goal is to create such conditions in each region that will be tailored to the needs of local population”
Gigla Tamazashvili-General Director of “Georgian Amelioration” and David Verava -State Representative of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region have discussed the issues related to amelioration infrastructure at the working meeting, held in Samegrelo.
The discussion referred to the current condition on the drainage schemes in the region, ongoing and planned projects, aiming at the improvement of amelioration infrastructure and significantly facilitating to agricultural development.
“Georgian Amelioration” is intensively working on the modernization and extension of amelioration schemes all over the country. Our goal is to create such conditions in each region that will be tailored to the needs of local population. Cooperation with self-governments plays a crucial role in this process”- Gigla Tamazashvili mentioned.
The working meeting defined priority directions and joint steps which will be implemented in the nearest future. The meeting was held in Zugdidi regional administration and was attended by Commercial Director of Georgian Amelioration, Head of Regional Office and Mayors of the municipalities in the region.
